2017/11/22 06:00

On November 10, 2017, a group of students of the American University visited the Embassy of China and had a discussion with some diplomats from the Embassy.

The Discussion was moderated by Second Secretary Liu Yuqing. Counselor Lyu Jin, Frist Secretary Chen Yansheng, and First Secretary Pan Jiang briefed the students on the background of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), the progress of the BRI, and new opportunities for the U.S. businesses by participating in the BRI, and answered questions raised by the students. Counselor Tang Jian also briefed the audience on President Trump’s state visit to China recently.

The students found the dialogue very informative and helpful for their better understanding of the BRI and China-US relationship.
