On July 31, Minister Liu Guangyuan met and held discussions with principals of the Chinese American Chamber of Commerce (CACC).

Minister Liu expressed his congratulations to the newly-founded organization, praising it for offering a good stage for cooperation among Chinese businessmen in America. He also expressed his hopes that CACC would make achievements in the spirit of "solidarity, innovation and being pragmatic" and make contributions to the friendship between China and America, to the economic and cultural exchanges between the Mainland and Taiwan, and to the realization of unification of China.
